Thanks Bob --- Good post! Luke 5 has a lot to convey to us about obedience. The challenge of faith in verse 4 is met with obedience in verse 5. I believe the Greek word used in verse 5 for ''word'' or ''command'' is: Rhema.
Indeed, we so miss out truly, when we are not in obedience to His Word...and yes, in verse 5 word here is the Rhema word which is the "uttered" Word, rather than the Logos, which is the "written" Word of God...good catch, Earl...no pun intended!
